Department of chemistry running M.sc chemistry with specialization in organic, inorganic and physical chemistry, is the only department of college in Punjab to be granted Rs 50 lakhs under DST-FIST programme to improve research and teaching in college. Research lab was established in 2014 and has latest instruments like IR, Spectroflourometer, UV-Spectrophotometer along with a computer lab and e-library with 15 computers and wi-fi facilities.
M.sc Students and staff are actively engaged in research project.
